Our Story

Established in 2016

I am a healthcare worker from Queens, NY and I work at a hospital that was hit hard during the pandemic. During this difficult time, it was my job to connect patients with their loved ones at home as hospitals everywhere closed visitation. This experience of connecting patients with their loved ones helped me to realize how vital human connection is to the healing process. I poured myself into my work wanting to provide my patients with every opportunity to connect and heal. Soon I realized that pouring myself into my work was emptying my vessel and I needed to pour onto myself. You can’t pour out of an empty cup.

Embroidery and crafting were my way of self-caring. Creating art in this way fueled my spirit. I started designing and crafting because I whole heartily enjoyed it. During a difficult and dark time in the world, embroidery and crafting brought a light back in my life. I LOVE what I do and I infuse that love into every project I take on.
